ABBEY-LEIGH DAWN FOUCHE is an Australian seafood merchant based in Birralee, Tasmania. We work with cold, clean southern water and a short, deliberate range: shellfish, crab, cephalopods and a small selection of fish and pantry goods.
Our story
We started with a simple idea: good seafood does not need a long story, only careful handling. Our range is chosen for texture, flavour and how it behaves in a home kitchen. Nothing is added to make it look better than it is.
What we select
Every product is chosen for a clear reason. Scampi for sweetness and delicacy. Oysters and clams for a bright, briny edge. Cuttlefish and squid for tender, quick cooking. Mackerel and dried sea cucumber for the everyday pantry. We keep the list short so that each item earns its place.
How we pack
Seafood is perishable, so the cold chain matters as much as the catch. Orders are packed with food-grade gel ice and insulated materials, then dispatched from Tasmania with tracking. We would rather pack properly than promise more than we can deliver.
